CLOSINGS - SONGS

KUM BY YA

Kum by ya, my Lord, Kum by ya [3 times] O Lord, Kum by ya

Someone’s crying Lord, Kum by ya [3 times] O Lord, Kum by ya

Someone’s praying Lord, Kum by ya [3 times] O Lord, Kum by ya

Someone’s singing Lord, Kum by ya [3 times] O Lord, Kum by ya

Someone’s laughing Lord, Kum by ya [3 times] O Lord, Kum by ya

SCOUT VESPER

(Tune:  Tannenbaum  Key:  G   Time: 3/4)

Softly falls the light of day,

While our campfire fades away,

Silently each Scout should ask:

"Have I done my daily task?

Have I kept my honor bright?

Can I guiltless sleep tonight?

Have I done and have I dared

Everything to be prepared?"
