ABOUT THE EMBLEMS:

God in Me: The God in Me religious emblem may be earned by Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts. This religious emblem includes the following study steps:

1. Who Am I? Includes a study of physical nature, mental nature, spiritual nature, and the Greatest Commandment.

2. The Simple Truth.

3. Know Your Church: Includes study of the physical church, attending months or longer and writing a poem about what the Scout has learned.

4. Seeing God Nature: Includes an awareness walk and awareness plot to study nature.

5. Helping Others: Includes a service project.

6. Thoughts Are Things: Learning about thoughts as seeds.

7. Prayer.

 

Light of God: The Light of God emblem may be earned by Boy Scouts aged 11 -14. Study for this religious emblem includes the following steps:

1. What Are You? The Scout learns about himself, that God is life, and about the Spirit.

2. History of Unity.

3. Bible study, including the story of the Prodigal Son.

4. Book Report on the Simple Truth (300 words).

5. Prayer and Meditation.

6. Our Twelve Powers - Faith, Love, Strength, Wisdom, Power, Imagination, Understanding, Will, Order, Enthusiasm, Elimination, and Life.

7. Service Project (not less than 10 hours).
