Description The Lawrence L. Lee Scouting Museum/Max I Silber Scouting Library represents an exciting, unique, and colorful repository for an exceedingly large collection of Boy Scout memorabilia and an exceptional Scouting Library. Artifacts relating to Scouting in New Hampshire, New England, the United States, and the World are on display for all ages to come and enjoy. We hope you will come and visit us!  Collections feature information on Baden-Powell, World and National Jamborees, Scouts on Stamps and probably the largest library of Scouting Fiction and Non-Fiction books.  Owned by the Daniel Webster Council

Located at Camp Carpenter in Manchester, New Hampshire Camping facilities are available. Call Daniel Webster Council at 1-800-221-0009 to make arrangements (they can also provide you with brochures on the museum)

It will cost you a $10 deposit and than either .25 or .50 per head, per night. During the winter months the museum is only open on Saturdays, but in the summer, it's open 7 days a week. The council office will be glad to send you flyers.

The Lawrence L. Lee Scouting Museum and Max I. Silber Library are located on the grounds of Camp Carpenter, Daniel Webster Council, BSA. Both are entities of the council, operated by a committee of volunteers. Lawrence L. Lee was a long-time Scout Executive of the council and Max I. Silber is a council Scouter, Silver Buffalo recipient and benefactor.
