Description |
The Batchelder Family Scout Museum (BFSM), founded by Anne Stuart
Batchelder in 2007, has Scouting exhibits and displays, with a focus on
the rich history of the Mid-America Council. The museum is located in
the Durham Scout Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Learn about which camp
pennant Norman Rockwell painted from our council in one of his famous
paintings. See how Scouting has been a part of Eastern Nebraska,
Southwest Iowa, Northwest Iowa and South Dakota for the past 90+ years.
View the historic uniforms and handbooks of the past. Explore the
traditions of the honor camper tribes from Camp Gifford and Camp Cedars. |
