• Jamboree Tales

Each night during the 1997 National Boy Scout Jamboree, members of Jamboree Troop 1101 of the Great Sauk Trail Council in Michigan ended their day with a "Jamboree Tale". These were true stories about real people that gave the troop members something positive to think about as they went to sleep. The story on Day four was by far the most popular. They were compiled and written by Scoutmaster Dave Eby specifically for the Jamboree. Click on the day to read the corresponding story. [Used by permission of author]
