    This camp of the Connecticut Rivers Council is near the town of Bozrah. Celebrating 50 years of operation the camp is a major Boy Scout Summer Camp as well as a Cub World with several themed program areas.

    Connecticut Rivers Council has recently sold Camp Wakenah. The plan is to take a portion of the sales price and replicate the facilities from Camp Wakenah at Camp Tadma. It will take a few years but it is happening.

    we just returned from camp(week 6-2004),my son wants to be just like Eli and wants to work there when he gets older.He came home with no voice from so much shouting,BB,Archery,handicrafts,waterfront,outpost.... and all the rest.Council fires were great,we learned a lot of new skits and songs.
    I tried my hand at the ranges too,my son was proud that his mom hit the bullseye in archery,and used a bb gun.
    This was our second year there and will be there again next year i'm sure.

    Good Morning All,
    It is with a heavy heart that I report Connecticut Rivers Council has a proposal before the Executive Board to close and sell Camp Tadma. We're gathering testimony to present to the board on September 17th to prevent this from happening, and I just wanted to reach out to you and my other contacts to gather as much support as we can.
