1. Click on the Tools menu and click on "Options" (see graphic below).

2. Scroll down on the left side and click on "Styled Text". To prevent any styled text from being sent, click on the radio button by "Send plain text only" (see graphic below). If you prefer, you can put a check mark by "Ask me each time" and Eudora will prompt you for a choice between "text only" and "styled text" whenever anything other than plain text would be sent in the message.

3. Click on OK to save the changes.
