E-Mail Rules

This set of pages is designed to help you adjust your e-mail software for use on e-mail discussion lists. Because e-mail discussion lists are sent to Scouters with a wide variety of e-mail programs and equipment, it is very important to set your e-mail program to send plain text and not "HTML" or "MIME" encoded messages. If you send "HTML" or "MIME" many of the participants will not be able to see your messages and you may be placed in a moderated status depending on the rules established by the listowner.

Click on an e-mail program to the left and in this area you will see instructions for how to set your e-mail program to plain text.
