OPENING CEREMONY

Imagination-Opening
Santa Clara County Council

Each card has one large letter in front and words on the back. Each Cub Scout, in turn, holds up his card and reads the words (without reading his letter). After he is done, he keeps his card up. When the boy with the last "N" is finished, andother boy will say the last line. "IMAGINE THAT".

Close your eyes and follow me,
As I describe what my mind can see.
A purple dragon blowing bubbles,
Spotted zebras playing doubles.
A strange new world where skies are green,
An ocean city where mermaids can be seen.
An uncluttered mind is a wonderful gift,
Use it often for a joyous lift.
Now open your eyes and all please stand,
As we pledge allegiance to our land.
