ADVANCEMENT IDEAS
Trapper Trails Council

  1. Boot Award - Cut out two boots and glue together. Use to present award in. Write, "You earned your …and are a great Cub Scout to boot. Congratulations."

  2. Attach awards to wanted posters. Display posters on the outside of a large jail. Round up boy getting award and have him give up something or do something to get out. (Example: recite Cub Scout Promise, give Cub Scout sign, give up shoe, sing a song…)

  3. Dress up as a rodeo clown to present the awards.

  4. Pull awards out of a ten-gallon hat. Attach awards to a picture of a hat. "You're the best in the west!"
